All of our sessions are bespoke, designed following discussion with you in advance to understand the needs of your group.

These will give you some idea of how we structure our sessions and the kinds of activities we might include for different groups of people.

CHILDREN

Sample Children’s session –

Aim:

To increase the children’s awareness of drugs and medicines and how to
keep safe

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Discuss and define what a drug is
  2. Increase basic knowledge on effects of drugs on the body

Aim:

To enable participants to have a very basic knowledge of both recreational and street drugs and to consider protective factors for the family.

  3. Have seen what various street drugs look like and the paraphernalia used
  4. Have looked at the Law concerning drugs and parents

STREET PASTORS

Sample session – Street Pastors

Aim:

To equip participants to develop their knowledge of drugs and recognise signs of drug use, and give them an understanding of the types of drugs found on the streets. They will look at ways they can respond when dealing with a drug-related incident.

By the end of the session, learners will:

  1. . Understand basic terminology
  2. Have learned what the most commonly used drugs look like and how they might be taken (paraphernalia)
